Everyday Sandals Fancier Than Birkenstocks

We love our Birkenstocks and wear them a ton. But sometimes we want a pair of sandals that’s a bit more polished-looking. I (Chrissie) was on the hunt for such a pair, and these were my top picks.

Margaux Deia Sandal: We love this pair, especially in the espresso woven leather option with its rich dark brown color. Margaux shoes are so well-made and will last for seasons to come.

Vince Ellis Sandal: For a similar look/feel to the Margaux, this Vince pair is available at The Rack, but sizes may sell out quickly.

The Row’s Dune Leather Flip Flops: If you have a larger budget, these are the gold standard of upscale flip-flop sandals.

Loeffler Randall Devon Slingback Sandle: Loeffler Randall makes beautiful shoes, and this low-heeled sandal comes in a ton of color options and is super versatile.

Loeffler Randall Lina Espresso Flip Flop: These are great-looking, elevated flip-flops that would pair well with shorts, jeans, or a sundress.

Loeffler Randall Odessa Dune Leather Heeled Sandal: Heeled flip-flops are super popular this summer, and this pair comes in a great neutral color that matches everything, has a block heel that’s easy to walk in, and features a statement gold ball detail. This is a perfect dressier casual sandal.

Loeffler Randall Lara Timber Leather Sandal: Can you tell we are fans of Loeffler Randall sandals?! This flat pair is casual and coolly elegant.

Loeffler Randall Nomi Cacao Platform Sandal: This one adds some lift and still looks great with shorts, skirts, pants, or a dress. The design and color also elongate the legs.

Emme Parsons Bari Slides: We love the design and the curved footbed of this upscale pair of slides.

Dolce Vita Ginna Whiskey Jelly Flats: Jelly sandals are very “in” this summer, and this pair is a great one to throw on with almost anything in your wardrobe.

A.EMERY Kinto Leather Flip Flops: Upscale leather flip flops from a company that makes beautiful, streamlined shoes.

Larroude Milan Sandal: I (Chrissie) have these and love them. The heels are easy to walk in (I don’t wear uncomfortable high heels anymore), they are super comfortable, and the embellishment on the straps adds a little something extra. They might not be as everyday as the rest of the sandals on this list, but they can be worn with everything from casual pants to a nice dress. They also come in a flat version.

Reformation Eden Platform Thong Sandal: This pair from Reformation has some lift, without being too high, which is harder to find than you may think.
