Best Baby Essentials: Tried & Tested Favorites for New Parents and Grandparents

Baby gear has undergone significant changes since we had kids, and there are some great new items on the market! My niece Caitlin had a baby this year, and my sister-in-law, Susan, loves babysitting for her. She even recently traveled to Florence with the family to provide trusted care, allowing the parents to enjoy a multi-day wedding stress-free. Here are the items that both Caitlin and Susan highly recommend. They also make great gifts for new parents.

Foldable Play Tumbling Mat:  “This mat is awesome. It’s expensive but well worth every dollar. The memory foam is what makes the difference. I think it could double as a bed! And it’s really big so other kids/parents can play on it as well.”
