What are the stylish Parisian women wearing on the streets this fall? Jo just spent a few days sightseeing and shopping in Paris last week and spied these trends.
Leopard:
Everywhere and on everything. Jackets, purses, pants, sneakers, and even scrunchies. The animal print neutral continues to grow in popularity.

Jacket: A leopard print car coat is an excellent topper over sweats, jeans, and dresses.

Purse: This Jerome Dreyfus handbag (he’s married to Isabel Marant) adds a pop to any outfit.

Pants: Easy to throw on, leopard jeans are a staple to wear with a white blouse or black sweater.

Blouse: This blousy georgette top is covered in bold animal spots and adorned with a delightful drapey bow. Wear with jeans or trousers.

Scrunchie: Make any hair day feel fresh and fun with this fiercely patterned scrunchie.
Trench Coats w/ Sweater Toppers:
Always on display in Paris, this coat is both fashionable and functional. The Parisians like to wear theirs oversized, below the knee, with a sweater tied around their shoulders.

Favorite Daughter Trench: Be undercover-chic in this polished double-breasted trench designed with a defining tie belt (most women don’t tie the belt).

Caslon: Great price for classic trench coat cut from cotton and finished with tortoiseshell-patterned buttons.

This oversized cashmere V-neck can be tied around your shoulders over the coat for a chic layer and added warmth. It’s also just a fantastic sweater for everyday wear! Caslon has a less expensive version, but not the same quality or chic silhouette if you’re going to wear it as a sweater!
Sherpa Vests/Coats:
As the weather turns colder, staying warm without sacrificing style is a top priority, and sherpa jackets and vests are leading the charge. Sherpa is a synthetic fabric made to look and feel like shearling, but is typically lighter, more affordable, and animal-friendly.

Cream Sherpa Jacket: This jacket promises to keep you warm and stylish from brunch to dinner and everything in between.

Vest: Alex Mill makes a great Sherpa vest in fun colors, like gray, green, or tan. We also like this one from Boden.
Ruched Seam Loafers:
What are ruched seam loafers? Ruched loafers, often called gathered loafers, add a sophisticated dimension to the classic silhouette through gathered stitching that creates a ruched effect around the toe box. It’s a classic loafer, with a pinched seam around the toe.

Freda Salvator: Classic loafer with ruched details and crinkled patent leather.

Prada: A budget buster, but a classic that will last forever.
Phone Chains, Lanyards, & Slings:
Seen everywhere, and in every possible configuration – cords, beads, tortoise, etc. Sized for wrist or as a sling/cross-body.

Wrist: We love this tortoise one from J. Crew, or this baroque pearl style.

Sling: Try the cord style in various colors, tortoise shell, or fun, colorful beads.
