Who wears short shorts these days? Not us! But this season, some fantastic longer-length shorts are having a major moment, which puts us back in the shorts game. The cuts are tailored, flattering, and wearable for women our age who want a bit more coverage. From chic bermudas to sporty walking shorts, these lengths (from 7-11″ inseam) hit the sweet spot between polished and playful. Whether you’re dressing for errands, a walk with friends, or evenings out, these options are comfortable and age-appropriate. We think the key is to keep the length a little longer, the leg a little wider, and avoid tears and raw edges to keep the look grown-up. Here is a list of our favorites for the season.
Gap 11″ Highrise Longline Denim Shorts
Lululemon Stretch Woven Ruffle-Waist High-Rise 9″ Short
Vince Stretch Cotton Bermuda Shorts 13.75″
Frank & Eileen Waterford 7.5″ Linen Short
Quince Stretch Cotton Bermuda Shorts 10.5″
Athleta Drift Mid Rise Poplin Bermuda Short 8.5″
Banana Republic High-Rise Drapey Twill Bermuda Short 11.5″

Quince fabrics and quality are inferior to other lines you promote. Their dyes fade like a Target purchase and I have would not buy from them again. That’s why the clothes are so cheap
Thank you for the comment and we are sorry you had that experience. Although we don’t love every product we’ve tried, we’ve only included the items we have tried and liked. Please know that they would definitely take returns if you aren’t happy with something.
